Set Your Child Up for Success: Preparing for An Appointment

A stress-free experience for you and your child starts here.

At Pediatric Smiles, we believe that every visit should be a positive experience for you and your child. Our goal is to ensure that your visit is comfortable, informative, and fun while creating a lasting good impression of dental care for your child.

Getting Ready for Your Appointment

To help your child feel confident and prepared, here’s how you can get ready:

1. Schedule an Appointment:

• Book online or call our office to schedule a time that works for you and your family.

2. Complete New Patient Forms:

• Save time by filling out the necessary forms online before your visit. Download them here.

3. Tell Your Child What to Expect:

• Explain that the dentist is a friend, there to keep their teeth healthy and strong.
• Use positive language to make them feel excited and at ease.

For patients over the age of 3, we find that they thrive when allowed to independently accompany our staff through the dental experience. However, we fully respect the wishes of our parents, and you are welcome to be present for all cleanings and exams if that is your preference.
